The Human-AI Edge
Human First. AI Second.
AI RUNS THROUGH MY COACHING
It sharpens session prep, works over my post-session notes, pressure-tests strategy, and helps build the exercises and readings each client receives. Every one of those jobs happens with me. None of them happens to you.
Human first, AI second.
USED STRATEGICALLY
Coaching Stage
After our intake session, I use AI to co-develop a coaching plan.
No AI is in the room. It is Human to Human.
Transcripts of sessions are reviewed and analyzed for trends, actions, and next steps. AI validates my analysis and may add items I missed. Transcripts are then anonymized and password-protected for your privacy.
The analysis drives resource creation and identification. These can include readings, video, exercises and hyper-personalized handbooks for each client. I use AI for advanced research and resource creation.
WHY THIS APPROACH?
I am an avid, hours per day, user of AI. I use it for a wide variety of applications -- even developing AI agents to help me run my business and creating tools to make me more effective. But that's where it ends.
The ethical, intellectual and empathetic foundations for human-to-human connection cannot be supplanted by a Large Language Model - maybe someday, but not today.
Without emotional, generational and cultural intelligence, an AI can sound like a coach but it will never be a true coach.
Others use AI as autonomous support in between sessions. But I don't.
The best way to maintain momentum is for the coach to be the "in between" connective tissue of the coaching journey, which is why my clients have 24/7 access to me.
